Noel Pretorius & Movement nominated in EDAwards

Our type design-ninja Noel Pretorius won gold in EDAwards for his typeface Movement and we could not be prouder.

Movement is a project where the art of dance was brought into type design. Shapes written on air, by the movement of a dancer, were captured in a variable font to be used in print and on-screen. The project was born as a collaboration with South African dancer Andile Vellem and Design Indaba, a globally acclaimed design conference in Cape Town.
