For the the yearly politics week in Almedalen in Sweden, Google asked us to bring their perspective on AI to life to inspire people to explore how AI and technology can help humans, society and our planet. We asked ourselves how to turn fear into curiosity and talking into real solutions.
We created "the box" as a metaphor for generative AI and invited people to join Google in thinking inside and outside the box to solve actual problems. While AI excels in the box, human thinking is organic and dynamic. The integration of the two is what creates true value — not one without the other. With the box as the centerpiece we designed a digi-physical experience merging human spacial design with a customized augmented reality tool. As the guests moved fluently from physical to digital so did conversations. The space intruiguied people to interact, explore and discover new perspectives, enabling insightful conversations that lead to positive action and new collaborations.
